Does your Facebook Chat Sidebar is appearing you in a new style ?? If you do not like this new pattern of chat system then you really do not need to suffer from this problem. You can get your old Facebook Chat Sidebar back easily. Do not worry, your new chat sidebar will also be safe. 🙂 . You will be able to switch to your new sidebar also, whenever you want.

It’s possible if you are using these very common browsers- Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Opera.

You just need to install “Sidebar Disabler” extension on your browser. With this extension you can disable the newly introduced Chat Sidebar and return to the old Facebook Chat.

If you are using Firefox currently, then to install “Sidebar Disabler” in one click, click here.

After installing these extensions you might need to  restart your browser or refresh your all current tabs/windows. 🙂 . 

To toggle between old-style chat and new-style chat, use the Options menu in the buddy list. (See Following Image)
